NHS Appointments

For an NHS appointment you will need to first see your GP who will write to me. Urgent referrals are usually dealt with by means of a phone call and faxed letter.

My secretary at The Royal Sussex County Hospital can be contacted via the switchboard: 01273 696955 ext 4237. She works part-time so you may need to leave a message on the answering machine.

My secretary at The Princess Royal Hospital can be contacted via the switchboard: 01444 441881 ext 8089. When not available you can leave a message on her answering machine.

Private Appointments

For a private appointment, in general you should have a GP referral letter. Without it, if you are insured, your insurer may not reimburse the cost of the consultation or treatment. If you are paying for yourself it is still better to have a referral letter from your GP. To make an appointment ring 01444 484524 during normal office hours. You can make an appointment whilst we wait for the referral letter to arrive, as this can save time. There is an answerphone if there is no reply. Please leave your name and telephone numbers and we will endeavour to ring back the same day. Do not ring The Nuffield Hospital Haywards Heath. They will not be able to help you.
